5. Superintendent Reports:
------ A.WHS Students of the Month - deferred
------B. Report of 2009 - 2010 Accountability Ratings and Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) Scores, presented by Mrs. Phillis Stone. The District's Passing Scores, for the 3rd thru 11th Grades were Significantly higher than State averages. The Teachers, Administrators, and Students were all commended for their outstanding performance. Teachers were praised for their attention to each individual student, ensuring their success. Additionally; Texas accountability found that the Elementary School was Exemplary, and Middle and High Schools were Recognized. WELL DONE!

6. Items of New Business:
------ A. Consider / Action on Adoption of the 2010 - 2011 BUDGET of $12,750,217.64 --- As Recommended, APPROVED B. Consider / Action on Adoption of the 2010 - 2011 TAX RATE of $1.17 per / $100.00 in valuation with all $1.17 / $100.00 be used for Maintenance & Operation--- As Recommended, APPROVED
