Farmers Market in Winnsboro
The Winnsboro Farmers’ Market will open at 8am every Saturday. The vendors are usually sold out within a couple of hours and with the earlier opening time we will probably be closing between 11:00 am and 11:30 am. Come out early to get the best selection of locally grown fresh farm produce, dairy products, jams/jellies and lots more. Sweet Corn, Tomatoes, Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Purple Hull Peas, Plums, Squash, Bell Peppers, Onions, Blueberries, and Blackberries are only a few of the items now available at the Farmers’ Market. We look forward to seeing you under the covered Jack Cross Pavilion at City Park. Come and enjoy the “Tastes of Summer”.
Animal Shelter Needs Help
The Winnsboro Animal Shelter has a full house. If you are looking to adopt, there are many puppies and adult dogs, cats, and kittens waiting for a home. If you can't adopt, we are in need of foster homes until their forever family comes along. If you don't have room for an addition to your herd, the shelter is always grateful for donations large and small.
For more information contact the shelter directly at 903-342-3400. To meet some of the dogs needing homes click HERE
