Soccer Comes to Winnsboro

In September, there were enough four, five, and six year olds signing up for fall soccer to give Winnsboro four teams. The coaches have been, with great patience, teaching the basic skills to these busy little ones, and all have been having great fun, including the parents.

The kids have learned about playing as a team, as well as perseverance and encouragement. Most importantly, they have learned about good sportsmanship.

The soccer teams have been a joy to watch in Winnsboro, even on those boggy fields.

And, yes…I am one of only two soccer moms who drive a mini-van.
