The pageant was held Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Winnsboro High School Auditorium. This year’s theme was Hawaiian Luau. The emcee for the night was David Rose, pastor of First Baptist Church. The pageant is sponsored by the Beta Zeta Psi Sorority. This civic organization provides yearly scholarships and makes donations to local charities.

The contestants are judged in the following categories for the Little Miss Autumn title: interview, party dress, photogenic, sportswear. Optional categories they may enter are: optional photogenic, best eyes, best hair, best personality, portfolio, most ticket sales.
