JUNE...Winnsboro Community Service Day on June 14 in addition to a Prep Day on June 13 for those projects needing more preparation. Individuals, civic clubs, and businesses can support this growing program through prayer, promotion, recruiting, financial and material donation(tax deductible), sharing time and abilities, and helping find projects in Winnsboro that can be accomplished in a day or two. To volunteer this year, contact your local church or call First United Methodist 903.342.6172. Checks may be made out to: Winnsboro Community Service Days, c/o FUM Church, 301 Church Street, Winnsboro, Texas 75494. A Rally and Orientation for Volunteers will be held at 7:00 PM at FUM Church on June 12.

Summer Vacation Bible Schools... Pray for and support the the churches of our area that are conducting these outreach ministries.
Mission Trips... Pray for those churches of our area that are on mission to China and Columbia and other nations of the world.
Pray for Churches without pastors... Several area churches are prayerfully seeking pastors and they need our earnest prayers.
Pray for the Persecuted Christians of the World...
...Remember China and those effected by the terrible earthquake.
...Remember the believers in China who have been and are continuing to be arrested by the Communist government in preparation for the 2008 Olympics.
...Remember Myanmar and those effected by the devastating hurricane.
...Remember the believers in Myanmar who are being persecuted by the military dictatorship.
...Remember Indonesia and India believers who are being persecuted by Hindu and Muslim extremest.
