WHUS ADOPT A PET
Since 1995, the Winnsboro Humane Society/Adopt A Pet organization has fostered, rehabilitated and found loving homes for stray and abandon animals. With much compassion and great foster parents to help strays suffering from malnourishment, fleas, parasites, no vaccinations and, many with heartworm infestation and mange. Mothers with litters are nursed back to health and taught to trust humans again before placing them in their "furever" loving home. We are committed to alleviating pain, fear and suffering as well as eliminating unwanted litters by introducing a low cost spay/neuter clinic.
All personnel are volunteers who work without financial compensation from the organization. All donations go toward medical and fostering expenses. We are not supported by any government or taxpayer entity.
