Presently, the "family planning" program receives funds at $85,000,000 per year, including Planned Parenthood and other organizations that promote abortion. While those funds are not used to actually provider abortions, Planned Parenthood and other providers use those dollars to refer pregnant women for abortions.

• Part of your monthly phone bill goes to Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood affiliates in Texas have received $2,800,000 in state funds from the Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund (TIF), which is an assessment on monthly residential and business phone bills.
• The majority of Texans oppose the use of tax funding for abortions. 69 percent of adult Texans disagree with the statement that "the state government should pay for abortions for any woman who wants it and cannot afford to pay." • Planned Parenthood runs the largest chain of abortion facilities in Texas. Nationally, Planned Parenthood is the nation’s undisputed Number 1 abortion provider, performing nearly 200,000 every year.
  Abortions at Planned Parenthood outnumber prenatal care 11-1.
• For every adoption referral made by Planned Parenthood, they perform 79 abortions.
