Winnsboro is a Main Street City

On Tuesday, October 22nd, five new Texas Main Street Cities were announced by the Texas Historical Commission. These cities were: Clarksville, Llano, Luling, Van Horn, and Winnsboro.

The Main Street Board is very excited about the new opportunities this will bring the city. Winnsboro will now be elligible for goverment funding for projects like building restoration, and will even include a congratulatory visit by the First Lady of Texas.
