HELLO Neighbor,
My name is
FRANK HOBIN.
I'd appreciate
YOUR vote for Winnsboro City Councilman, May 3rd, 2003. MY GOAL is TO
BE OF BENEFIT the whole community. I'll be working fairly with the other
Council members, mayor, City Manager and government workers. I'M PROUD
of our little town and dedicated to the City and Citizens of Winnsboro.
I expect to
be informed, and diligent when dealing with any City matter, and PROMISE
to do my homework. I'm very aware of our limited financial base and believe
in using our tax dollars wisely. We must be efficient and cost-effective.
I care about the long-term needs of our City and support a comprehensive
maintenance, growth, and development plan.
I'm freely offering my time and services, hoping to earn YOUR vote on
the Winnsboro City Council.
BACKGROUND:
I was bom and
raised here in TEXAS. After high school, I enlisted in the United States
Navy and served Honorably for 22 years. Military experiences include service
as a Navy Corpsman, Aircrew-man, and Veteran of three wars with actual
combat time during Desert Shield/Desert Storm (GULF-I).
I've had the
privilege of traveling extensively, and have managed large organizations.
Earned an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Phoenix, while
on active duty.
I have been
happily married for 26 years to Deborah Hobin. We are proud parents of
two sons and new grandparents of a 6-month-old grandson. Our oldest son
Paul is a Professional Fireman, and worked briefly in the Winnsboro Volunteer
Fire Department.
Our youngest
son Phillip has attended WISD schools since the 7th grade, when we moved
to Winnsboro. He will be graduating this May.
Following military
service, we returned to Texas. I chose to work in the health care field,
and graduated from the LVN Program at Navarro Junior College. I'm presently
a working Nurse at Presbyterian Hospital of Winnsboro.
Since moving
to Winnsboro in 1997-98, we've been active in local politics, and school
activities.
We're proud
of Winnsboro, and I'll work FOR Winnsboro as,
YOUR Winnsboro City Councilman.
THANK YOU,
PLEASE VOTE
