Mad Hatter’s Annual Tea Party

To benefit the Gilbreath Memorial Library

This year marks the 100th consecutive year that the Standard Club of
Winnsboro has held a tea fundraiser in support of the Library. It all started in
1908, in support of the Carnegie Library.

To celebrate, this year’s theme will be reminiscent of a garden party.
Open to the public, over 150 people attend the event each year which is tradi-
tionally held in the spring.

All the food is prepared and donated by members of The Standard Club.
The WES Singers, under the direction of Jennifer Van Brasch, will perform at 12:30pm.

Library staff includes Vickie Martin, Library Director; Diane Fite, Assistant
Librarian and Keri Pullin.

Tea Committee this year consists of: Chair, Tracy Hopkins; Bettye Gilbert and Suzie Hamm.

All proceeds from donations benefit the Library. Funds are used to purchase books
and meet other Library needs.
